Since our inaugural Duckhorn Vineyards vintage in 1978, we have proudly been crafting renowned Merlot. The vision established by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn over forty years ago is at the foundation of every vintage.
We made our first Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in 1978. Since then, our portfolio has grown to include Cabernet across regions and states from Canvasback, Decoy, Postmark and Greenwing.
For Pinot Noir, Dan and Margaret Duckhorn believe true greatness is found on the cool-climate edges of modern California viticulture, where the grape can express varietal purity and an intimate sense of place.
